Lowcountry Big Mama Mug, 15oz

"Big Mama" is a rural Georgetown county (and Gullah) for grandmother. Our "Big Mama" line is inspired by our grandmothers who had the pot on the stove all day ready to sit and talk!

This folk art created by Browns Ferry descendant, Norma Linen, is original art and geechee saying from her family folklore. "Who you bex at?" (what's got you upset?) is a Gullah/Geechee saying from Norma's grandparents. 

Big Mama may not be with you everyday, but you can still sit with her over your coffee, tea!
