Collection: Norma Linen Folk Art

Meet Norma Linen's "hunna chillen" (meaning beloved family) though her painting and family sayings. Norma is a self-taught artist who paints and draws depictions of her community of rural coastal South Carolina.

Five generations deep in the rural communities that live alongside the Black River of South Carolina, their legacy of resilience, persistence, ingenuity and self-sufficiency lives on in the hundreds of descendants of Linen ancestors.

Depictions of any living individuals are merely coincidental and not actual portraits.
